Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Graphic Design, Web Design, Large Graphic printer and customer service is preferred. Communications and Web Site Coordinator (Anchorage, AK)
ProsperityAlaska.org is an advocacy organization that promotes a healthy business climate and general economic prosperity for Alaskans. We work closely with and support the efforts of other business advocacy organizations, and we encourage businesses to communicate with their employees on public policy issues of economic importance.
We currently have a need for a part-time Communications Coordinator on a temporary contract basis. The position will be responsible for developing communications on public policy issues, administering the ProsperityAlaska.org web site, conducting social media communications and other duties as needed.
The hours are 4-6 hours per day, on average. The position will last 3 to 6 months, initially. Some work from home is acceptable. Hours are flexible.
The successful candidate will possess strong background in Alaska public policy, especially regarding resource development and other issues of interest to the business community. He/she will have a minimum of a bachelors degree from an accredited university or be currently enrolled as a student.
The successful candidate must possess strong computer skills, have experience with web administration and desktop publishing, and be a proficient user of social media. Please do not apply if you lack these essential qualifications.
This opportunity is ideal for an individual who is seeking interesting, stimulating work on a flexible, part-time basis, with upside potential for a longer term engagement.
